United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for Eastern Africa (UNODC ROEA) hereby solicits Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested vendors for Provision of Dhow Repairs Services and Reconstruction Works in Mahe, Seychelles.2. The Global Maritime Crime Programme of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Eastern Africa works with governments in the improvement of their Law Enforcement Response to all types of crime at sea. As part of the support provided to the Maritime Law Enforcement (MLE) authorities,as a training platform, UNODC makes use of a dhow as part of its infrastructure in Seychelles for Maritime Law Enforcement (MLE) training.Due to the wear and tear of the dhow, refurbishment and repair works are required in order to maintain the infrastructural integrity of the vessel, as well as ensure safety of its use by training participants. 3.The contractor shall provide services that include but not limited to Hull refurbishment and repairs,provision and installation of cutlass bearing,electrical re-wiring works,rudder servicing,propeller and shaft servicing,generator and gear box servicing.Comprehensive scope of works will be provided in the tend...
