- Request for proposals are invited for Interior and Exterior Cleaning Services Release of RFP Wednesday 13th April, 2022 Submission of Intent to Bid (Annex II) Wednesday 20th April, 2022 Site Visit Monday 25th - Tuesday 26th April, 2022 Deadline for questions Tuesday 3rd May, 2022 Release of answers to questions Wednesday 11th May, 2022 Deadline for proposals Wednesday 1st June, 2022 by 3:00pm Opening of Technical Bids Wednesday 1st June, 2022 at 3:30pm Decision made and respondents informed of the outcome Monday 4th July, 2022 Agreement signed and engagement starts Thursday 28th July, 2022 SCOPE OF SERVICES a. The Firm shall carry out cleaning services at the CBS premises using specialised equipment and materials / products that are environmentally friendly (e.g. Bio products) and do not constitute a hazard to the occupants of the buildings. The cleaning services shall include: INTERIOR CLEANING i. vaccuuming of carpets ii. deep cleaning of carpets iii. interior cleaning of glass panels iv. scrubbing / polishing of floors (corridors, tearooms and canteen area) v. scrubbing / polishing of main and fire exit staircases vi. steam cleaning of curtains vii. dry cleaning of chairs viii. cleaning of monsoon blinds. EXTERIOR CLEANING i. power wash / pressure cleaning of concrete surfaces and water tanks ii. exterior cleaning of glass panels. b. The cleaning services shall be carried out in such a manner and at such convenient times so as not to impede on CBS- normal operations as per the schedule in Annex (III). c. The Firm shall provide all labour, necessary tools, materials and equipment necessary to carry out the cleaning services correctly and safely at CBS premises. d. The Firm shall ensure that all cleaning services are carried out by personnel who are suitably trained and experienced to safely perform the cleaning services in accordance to the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation. e. The Firm shall, upon the completion of each cleaning service on the Premises, provide the CBS with a report to document the works undertaken. f. The Firm shall perform work safely, in a manner that ensures safety for employees and the public, and shall be accountable for the safe performance of work. g. In the performance of the cleaning services, the Firm shall exercise a degree of care commensurate with the work and the associated hazards.
